Valenza Chocolatier Easter Collection
03.31.15
Our favorite local Master Chocolatier Amy Jo Valenza-Pedone just launched her Valenza Chocolatier Easter Collection featuring true chocolate artistry in different size eggs. Valenza Chocolatier also offers gift-wrapped boxes of award-winning caramellos and vegan-friendly stuffed figs. The collection is built around Amy Jo's childhood memories, Italian traditions and finished with beautiful pastel color design.
And to make her collection more accessible for the holiday, there will two Valenza Chocolatier Easter Pop-Up Shops; on Wednesday, April 1 at The Hood MRKT (within The Hood Kitchen Space in Costa Mesa) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and on Saturday, April 4 at Honor Roll (within the new 4th Street Market in downtown Santa Ana) from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
2015 VALENZA CHOCOLATIER EASTER COLLECTION
THE EGG - (ALL EDIBLE; one pound - serves over 20 guests):
The 61% dark chocolate work of art appears as if it is filled with a delicious assortment of mixed nuts and dried fruit. The exterior is an illusion because in reality the EGG is filled with over a half pound of assorted bite size chocolates from Valenza Chocolatier 's complete collection (Nib Bar, Sesamo Bar, PB+C Bar, solid mini egg flavors, and the Limoncello Bonbon).
PB + C EASTER EGGS (2 Half Eggs; Nut Free Option Available): Two decorated half eggs are filled with our award winning PB + C Bar ganache and then packaged together as one egg.
FIGS (4-piece box; Vegan): A plump Calimyrna fig is stuffed with a roasted almond and a sliver of lemon peel to provide a tart, citrus accent. The fig is then baked until golden brown, and finished with 73.5% dark chocolate.
CARAMELLOS (5-piece box): This sweet caramel made with real organic cream and sweet butter with a thick layer of 61% Venezuelan single-bean dark chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of Fleur de Sel sea salt.
MINI EGGS (6 piece bag or 12-piece box; Vegan Option): Gourmet solid MINI EGGS come in four signature flavors of 73.5% dark chocolate, Peperoncino, 41% Milk Chocolate, and Sesamo.
The Hood Kitchen Space is at 350 Clinton St., Suite 100 in Costa Mesa.
Honoe Roll DTSA at 201 E. 4th St. in Downtown Santa Ana.
